Mrs. Devorah Lesin

Mrs. Lesin is a true mechaneches with decades of experience, a deep love for Torah chinuch, and a passion for helping each talmidah grow. She began her journey teaching at Yeshiva of Brooklyn and Shalom Torah Academy, and—at the request of HaRav Shmuel Kamenetsky shlit”a—helped establish a girls’ high school in Philadelphia.

Her dedication to chinuch then took her across the world to Melbourne, Australia, where she spent over 15 years, 10 of them as principal of an elementary school. Alongside her school leadership, she taught high school and seminary, directed camps, gave parenting classes, and was deeply involved in community outreach. She also founded “Always Moving Forward,” an employment and vocational service that provided career counseling, mentoring, and training to help countless families in the community.

After returning to the United States, Mrs. Lesin joined Torah Umesorah as Executive Coordinator, where she worked with schools nationwide and developed innovative programs to strengthen Jewish education. She has also guided and advised many schools and organizations and most recently served as principal of Machon High School.
